Richard Parker is a Professional Planner with 50 years of experience in Land Use Planning. He retired from the City of Calgary in October 2003 following a 30-year career that included 15 years as Head of the Planning Department. During his time with the Calgary, Richard was involved with a wide range of planning issues related to the City’s Development, Land Use and Transportation. He is currently a consultant to municipalities, an Adjunct Professor at the University of Calgary and has taught REDI programs for the last 12 years.
