Richard Westren is Senior Vice President of Brookfield Residential. He has been employed with the company for 21 years. In 2005 Richard relocated with his family to Edmonton from Calgary to take on the role of Vice President of the Edmonton Region for Carma Developers, which is now Brookfield Residential.
While in Calgary, Richard played pivotal roles in McKenzie Town, the city’s first neo-traditional neighbourhood — through concept to planning and implementation.
He has been active within the industry for many years including key positions with the Urban Development Institute at the city and provincial levels. He served on the board of directors and as a board member, was involved with many initiatives to examine ways to improve efficiency in developing communities in Edmonton.
Richard graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Calgary and Mechanical Engineering Diploma from SAIT.
